[One on One] (More Madness Than) Meets the Eye
These days, the world is somehow moving toward becoming impossible to understand. News that fails to convince us, our daily lives that have become totally senseless, realities that cannot at all be explained. Ironically enough, it is within these ‘strange stories’ that the most painful truths are revealed. Funny but sad, seemingly frivolous but heavy stories. This conversation peers into the truths hidden inside those very ‘unhinged stories.’ The bizarre and daring worlds created by writers Patrick deWitt and Kim Seong Joong pry open the gaps in the reality we are trapped in and allow us to imagine something beyond. Is it the person who has gone mad? Is it society? Or is it the word ‘normal’ itself, a word that we have mistakenly trusted all along?
