Performance Workshop: Verse & Voice
At times, a poem becomes a song. Poet Lee Jenny and musician Arles unveil a performance built on the back of a soothing melody formed from long breaths. As Lee Jenny’s gentle voice transforms poetry into music, participants are invited to draw inspiration from the poem and write poems of their own with time to respond with what they are feeling. The emotions hidden inside will bloom as melodies, voices, and written words.
