Paula Cunningham lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her books, both from Smith/Doorstop, are A Dog called Chance (1999) and Heimlich's Manoeuvre (2013), which was shortlisted for the Fenton-Aldeburgh, Seamus Heaney Centre, and Strong Shine First Collection Prizes. Individual poems have won national and international prizes. She has also received awards from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. Her work appears in print and online journals in the UK and Ireland, Europe, Canada and the US, and has been widely anthologised. She also works in the National Health Service(NHS) as a dentist. She is very honoured to visit Korea.
